New MR tanker joins the fleet in October

Previously known as Hyundai Mipo Dockyard hull no. 2142, Alpine Venture (29,130 GT) entered service on 28 October.

Phenolic epoxy coated cargo and slops tanks in combination with hydraulically driven deepwell pumps allow the class description to include "Oil and Chemical Tanker, Ship Type 3". This brand new ship joins sisters Alpine Endurance, Alpine Eternity and Alpine Loyalty under the commercial umbrella of ST Shipping and Transport Pte Ltd.

May 2010: New LR2 and MR tanker join the fleet

Formerly known as Tsuneishi hull no. S-1409 and Hyundai Mipo Dockyard hull no. 2141 respectively, two newly built ships, Alpine Confidence (60,205 GT) and Alpine Loyalty (29,130 GT), commenced commercial operations during the second half of May.

Both ships feature epoxy coated cargo and slops tanks. Along with Alpine Endurance and Alpine Eternity they will enjoy world-class marketing and commercial management by joint venture partners ST Shipping and Transport Pte Ltd.
