About us
Transpetrol is an independent, fully integrated, shipowning company with a history stretching back nearly 50 years. We are focused exclusively on the safe transportation of oil, refined petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas. The company’s fleet consists of modern ships all built by leading shipyards.
We have a truly international workforce of around 25 employees on shore and a dedicated pool of approximately 500 seafarers serving clients around the globe. We regard the professionalism of our personnel as the single most important factor in meeting the needs of our clients. Properly trained, qualified and experienced staff are our key assets. In this context, our longstanding cadet program forms an integral part of our obligation to the future.
Our shore organisation is located in two main offices. Asker (near Oslo) in Norway, provides a home to our ship management organisation, which includes technical management, projects and newbuilding management and HSEQ (Health, Safety and Environment and Quality) management. In our Brussels (Belgium) office, we employ our commercial staff, including chartering and operations, as well as accounting and finance staff.
