Day of the Seafarer

Today is the Day of the Seafarer and we congratulate all our seafarers onboard and ashore.

Transpetrol wholeheartedly joins the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in supporting the 2026 theme, “Carrying world trade. Carrying the risks.”.
This initiative underscores the vital importance of Seafarers enabling trade and supply raw materials and finished products around the globe, while at certain occassions Seafarers are performing their tasks under difficult conditions and in challenging environments.
As a Company we always aim to protect our Seafarers and offer good employment conditions and safe working environments. However, we also realise that there remain (unexpected) risks and that you, our Seafarers, are dealing with those risks if and when they occur.
We are truly proud of your performance and happy to see how you all make the world go around!
