Building on its long-standing commitment to sustainability, Transpetrol is further accelerating its decarbonisation efforts by rolling out a suite of energy efficiency technologies across its entire fleet
of 14 vessels, with projected completion prior to year-end 2026.

This next phase focuses on scaling proven solutions across the fleet to drive additional gains in fuel efficiency, emissions reduction, and operational performance—demonstrating how sustainability leadership translates into practical, measurable action.

Njord is supporting Transpetrol in procuring, installing and delivering this fleet-wide roll-out, working closely with their team to ensure rapid and effective implementation.

Quote from Herman Marks, CEO, Transpetrol
"Over the past years we made great progress with lowering the fuel consumption across our fleet.
With the help of Njord we now implementing some further “turn-key” upgrades to all our vessels to lower energy consumption and emissions. The upgrades include a.o. the installation of variable frequency drives on air inlets and cooling water pumps, as well as ultra sound protection on the propellors to minimize marine growth".
