Ninh Hoa, Vietnam – 4 February 2026
We are pleased to report that Transpetrol and Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding (HVS) celebrated name-giving festivities for three super-eco LR2 tankers at the shipyard, in Ninh Hoa, Vietnam.
In the Transpetrol tradition, the vessels were named TP Promise, TP Progress and TP Prospect and are due for delivery in February, April and July of this year. Over 100 guests joined the festivities, together with the senior officers of all three ships and the full crew of MT TP Promise.
We are thankful to HVS and to our godmothers who blessed the vessels with grace and elegance.
We look forward to the vessels joining our fleet.
